Opel presents the new and practical Astra Sports Tourer

Following the world premiere of the next-generation Astra hatchback in September, Opel has today unveiled the eagerly awaited estate model version, the all-new Astra Sports Tourer. The newcomer will be available with two levels of plug-in hybrid electric drive, making it the German carmaker’s first electrified estate. The new Astra Sports Tourer also continues Opel’s successful tradition of compact estates, which began almost 60 years ago with the Kadett Caravan, the first such car in this class from a German brand.

Opel has revealed the all-new, sixth generation of the Astra. The success story of Opel’s bestseller began 30 years ago with the descendant of the legendary Kadett. With the all-new Astra, the German manufacturer is now opening the next chapter: for the first time, the compact class model is available with electric drive. Opel will open the order books for the new Astra this autumn. The first customers will take delivery of their cars early next year.

Opel presents the new Grandland

Opel has today revealed the new Grandland – elegantly sporty with intuitive controls and innovative technologies. With the fully digital Pure Panel, the new model offers the driver a completely different cockpit experience. Opel will announce the prices and open the order books for the newly developed SUV flagship in a few weeks’ time. Deliveries of the new Grandland – “made in Germany” at the Eisenach plant – will begin in the autumn.

Opel Astra range expands with “Design & Tech” trim version

Opel has now extended the line-up of its best-selling model with the new “Design & Tech” trim level, which is available for prices starting at €23,780 (all prices RRP including VAT in Germany). Customers can personalise their Opel Astra five-door hatchback and estate still further with assistance and technology packs tailored exactly to the “Design & Tech” model variants.

90 years of engineering services by Porsche

Opel Digitises Model Names

The German carmaker, Opel, is taking the digitisation of its product portfolio to the next level. The names, engine designations and emblems of future Opel models will be replaced by iQR codes. While the infotainment systems of the models from Astra to Zafira Life already seamlessly connect drivers and passengers with the digital world, it’s now a breeze for other road users and even pedestrians to get in touch with the vehicle occupants.

Opel has already produced more than 300,000 new Corsa

The latest generation of the classic small car Opel Corsa has rolled off the production line in Zaragoza, Spain, around 300,000 times already, to be delivered to customers all over the world. Since the market launch of the Corsa in November 2019, the car has been a real winner and has taken various awards. For example, the fully electric Corsa-e was honoured with the “Golden Steering Wheel” as the most popular small car in Germany in 2020.
