A new stylish edition: Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition

Porsche is launching a new Platinum Edition of selected Cayenne models. This special-edition of the SUV is characterised by exclusive coordinated design elements in a satin Platinum paint finish as well as by extra standard equipment. The result is a particularly stylish appearance coupled with an attractive price. Platinum Editions of the Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S are available, as well as the corresponding Coupé variants.

Porsche: New digital platform for all vehicle-related services

Porsche has revamped its digital services for smartphones and combined the functions for multiple apps: the My Porsche app will be customers’ central interface with the car and brand. It will take over the functions of My Porsche Essentials, Connect App and Car Connect App. Over the coming months, additional apps such as the Porsche Charging and Porsche – Good to know apps will also be integrated. Combining the full range of services and information in a single app will simplify use for customers and create a practical point of access to the digital world of Porsche through a modern user interface.

Porsche Vision Gran Turismo – the virtual racing car of the future

Porsche and the Japanese video game development studio Polyphony Digital Inc., a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment, present a spectacular virtual vehicle concept. The ‘Gran Turismo’ game series has featured Porsche sports cars since 2017, most recently the Taycan Turbo S. For the launch of the game’s seventh edition, Porsche has, for the first time, developed a vehicle purely for the virtual world.

IONITY accelerates expansion of its fast-charging network

IONITY already has the largest network of high-performance charging stations in Europe, which is accessible by the majority of electric vehicles. The joint venture is now ramping up its plans for further expansion. By 2025, the number of charging sites is expected to rise from the current 400 to more than 1,000. This will result in about 7,000 charging points – more than four times as many as the current 1,500.

The new GTS is the first Porsche Taycan with a range of over 500 km, based on WLTP figures

GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Since the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS of 1963, these three letters have held special significance for Porsche fans. Now, there is a derivative featuring this legendary combination of letters in every Porsche model series. At the LA Auto Show (19 – 28 November 2021), Porsche will be presenting a new version of its electric sports car – one that bears the GTS acronym. With a range of up to 504 km, based on WLTP figures, the new sports model is the first Taycan to break the 500-km mark.

Porsche gives green light for the joint company Bugatti Rimac

Porsche, Bugatti and Rimac are writing a new chapter in the history of the automotive industry. On 1 November, less than four months after it was first announced, one of the motoring world’s most exciting cooperation projects has started doing business under its new structure. The Bugatti Rimac joint venture will be based in Sveta Nedelja (Croatia). Its CEO will be electric hypercar pioneer Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili. Porsche AG will play a major role as strategic partner.

50 years for the Weissach Development Centre

The Porsche think tank is celebrating its anniversary: 50 years ago, the Weissach Development Centre went into operation. The Development Centre’s story began on 1 October, 1971 with the relocation of the development and design departments from Zuffenhausen to Weissach, 25 kilometres away from Stuttgart. Since then, the Development Centre has been a hub for innovative vehicles and intelligent development projects.
