VW comes with a new modern Polo GTI

In April, Volkswagen presented the latest evolutionary stage of the sixth generation of Polo. Now comes its sportiest version: the new Polo GTI. The powerful TSI engine and sports chassis, tailored specifically to the Polo GTI, transform the best-selling compact car into a dynamic, four-door sports car, which also allows semi-automated driving as an option for the first time in a Polo.

Porsche combines two strong brands: Bugatti-Rimac

Porsche and Rimac have agreed to set up a joint venture that incorporates Bugatti. Oliver Blume and Mate Rimac have signed the corresponding agreements and announced the name of the new hypercar manufacturer: Bugatti-Rimac. The joint venture will have its headquarters in Zagreb (Croatia) and is scheduled to be established in the fourth quarter of 2021. This is subject to the prior approval of antitrust authorities in several countries. Rimac will hold a 55 per cent share in the Bugatti Rimac joint venture, while Porsche will have a 45 per cent share. Porsche also holds a 24 per cent share in Rimac directly. Bugatti will be brought into the joint venture by current owner Volkswagen. The shares will then be transferred to Porsche.

The new VW Multivan world premiere

Volkwagen Commercial Vehicles unveils a completely new generation of the Multivan in a world premiere. In technical terms the MPV is making a major leap: For the first time, a plug-in hybrid is part of the drive system portfolio. In addition, a new evolutionary stage of networked assistance, operating and infotainment systems is on board. A new interior concept makes the Multivan even more versatile.
